I got a Bold 9930 about a week ago and i love it! I only have one problem. When i add a new contact it creates hundreds of different contacts with the same name and info. I then have to go in and delete all the duplicate contacts. Any idea how to stop this?
I've had some similar issues. Seems to have been caused from using and syncing with multiple address books. You can double check this when in your address book. Hit menu>options>filter or view (donremember exactly) and select to view only one address book at a time. If you have the same entry for each address book, that's your problem. I resovled this by 'uncheck the contacts sync' go to your mail application(s) delete all your contacts then re enable the contacts sync option. Of cousre back up your contacts by exporting a csv file just in case and be advised that not all applications handle the blackberry entry fields exactly so some information may be ommited - hope this helps
