- Yeah I do love the fact that the browser has yet to crash on me finally, but i miss the predictive text with the blackberry bridge that I use quite a lot. More than the actual browser itself.04-20-12 09:21 PMLike 0
- Anyway....someone knows how to revert to version 2.0?
Cause some android apps dont work after upgrade....so for me there are more negatives than positives on the new 2.0.1.04-21-12 04:09 PMLike 0 -

If you choose Full OS for downgrade, there will be absolutely no problems. It is exactly the same as if you just updated to 7971. It's same method RIM uses for updates.
CoreOS should be fine too but the in-built apps will be 1.358 still.04-22-12 06:50 AMLike 2 -

And THANKS for sharing this technique.dosboxwasthestuff likes this.04-22-12 11:13 AMLike 1 - the custom folder is in the firmware folder...this curstom folder must contain your firmware files (not firmware folder)
btw. i used core os and full os....and i still have the new android runtime version but "old" os 2.0 version -.-
Anyone has an idea?Last edited by Wurstsalat; 04-22-12 at 01:15 PM.
04-22-12 11:33 AMLike 0 - So I managed to downgrade 2.0.1 to 2.0.0.7971, but, can we take .6149 and change to a .zip file, extract and copy/paste fingerprint.dat into the manifest folder, i've tried, but cant rezip the .6149 file to actually use it... Anyone try this with success? For anyone tht doesn't have it- FINGERPRINT.DAT.TXT -Contents: LkV_5It3dHahGqhz0L_-cYl0tpRLMJaTGRyY_OX9s04AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA04-22-12 12:30 PMLike 0

- What is the current version of the Android Player on OS 2.0.1.358? What was it in 0.7971?
In the middle of my downgrade.
EDIT: I see from a different thread that the android player versions for OS1.358 and OS0.7971 are 2.0.1.30 and 2.0.0.56 respectively
I just successfully downgraded to OS 2.0.0.7971 and the android player version is 2.0.1.30 (the same as in OS 2.0.1.358)Last edited by bounce007; 04-22-12 at 02:28 PM.
