I know there's a bar file for Skype but does anyone have it? and does it work?

From what I've read, video doesn't work and IM kinda works. Im open to corrections if I'm wrong. I would live to have Skype working on the Pb.

That is what I believe to be true as well, IM only. There is no way for the Android player to talk to the Mic and Camera ATM.

Does it? I have the free version, and that doesn't, and the description of the paid version in app world makes no mention of this.

IM+ is strictly a message app and does not support Skype voice. I paid$7.00 to find that out.

Here I have a 64G tablet and will have to bring a 4G cheap android tablet to be able to use Skype while on holidays.

There has to be a reason why RIM does not have even one app to have voice calling.
