It should be available when you see the Update Notification icon in the Notification Bar.

The real reason I'm asking is cos ever since I updated to 2.0 the backlight keeps flashing on and off. At times it goes off all together and I have a dark screen.
I have even done a factory reset and still nothing. I can still use the pb but its very annoying.

Maybe its a software glitch or a hardware problem. Its still in warrenty till June so I'm still ok for a repair or a new pb .

Any advise would be great or a playbook would be better.

That really sounds like a hardware issue. You might want to RMA it.

An individual issue like that will probably not be resolved by an update. If it were widespread and affecting a lot of users, your chances might be better. I would suggest calling RIM support.

the 2.0 is the latest update so far on PB. if u are having that issue may I suggest to call the IT support and ask them whats going on. hw long have u had your PB?

RMA: does that means, RETURN MATERIAL AUTHORIZATION??.

Bridge update was just patches for bugs in the OS 7 version of Bridge. Hopefully, this Tuesday or BB World...

You are correct the recent Bridge update was only for OS 7 phones.

Actually the bridge v2.0.0.26 is only available for 7.1 devices; v2.0.0.25 is still the latest for all others, including 7.0. No clue whatsoever what's in .26, other than since I upgraded my BBM notification doesn't go away on the PB now until I respond to it.

If you're on AT7&T, I'd suggest grabbing the non-AT&T version of .26 from here:
