Going to install it later tonight, it'll take a while to notice any changes to the battery performance so let's give it a week

Waiting for a "All Language" version

Wait 4G? You mean RIM is catching up to the iOS displaying HSPA+ as 4G?

OH that's awesome. Bell calls it HSPA+, so I have H+ instead of 4G.

So I assume it's a carrier by carrier thing.

According to Bell.ca I'm in a HSPA+ area (covers the entire city), but my 9360 still says 3G. Can anyone else test this?

My main concern is battery life. I know it's early, but has anyone noticed any improvements in this area?

Does that (4G) only applies to ORANGE? And beside the battery issue, does this update fix the overheating issue?

Its a huge jump...258 to .336?? I hope there will be visible improvements, or at least... Improved battery or smother browsing.... And eish, the issue of overheating is critical too.... We can't be always using thick rubber gloves when our devices are running on 3G (maybe It'll be worse on 4G)
iPhone users will again have a large at us!!!

The phone itself has 4G (I tried with 2 other carriers) Too bad Orange doesn't have 4G
I'm starting to have overheating issues again when I listen to music sometimes

    I just installed this and I don't have the 4G option...strange.

Also, after I installed .258 I lost the Hotspot option, and now with .336 it's not back, do you guys have the Hotspot option?

i have it all did no problems did you do a reset of your phone? try pressing these three keys at the same time this is a better battery pull without pulling the battery... so left side (alt key) with right side (del key) with right side (aA arrow up key) at the same time.not using the brackets of course..

Yes, I did that and still the same.
I will wipe the phone and install the os again and see if that helps...

EDIT: Wiping didn't help, but i've been searching about this and it looks like the carrier can block the Mobile Hotspot option if we don't have a plan for it. The 4G option not showing is probably because of something similar...:S

Either the 4G signal of Globe here in the Philippines is just bad or they're just claiming to have 4G but really don't. Haha.

This OS is the same version as the new 9790's
It's possible that some code got shared with a HSPA+ compatible BB, and the H+ symbol is just a bug.

I had it on the 258 and even on the 336. Infact, now when I try to start it, it gives me more detailed instruction with regards to what plan to activate to get the service started. This never came up before.
