i had a spare 9900 and took that apart, was fairly easy! i like the sliding screen idea!

I get what you mean ... my mechanic always asks me HOW I work on such "small" things....he could never work on a phone he says...too small. Well I told him I could never pull down a car.... not my cup of tea

but apart from all that..... its wayyyyyyy much easier than the blackberry torch 9800 housing change I posted over in the 9800 section

Did it this past weekend when my screen broke after dropping it. Luckily... I hung on to my prior 9900 after it bricked so I had a spare screen to install. I'm the least mechanical person you will ever fine. If I was able to do it... Literally anyone over the age of 8 can do it. It does void your warranty though, which sucks
