Am having a huge problem with my 9000. I cant get it to synch with Entourage 2008 Calendar and Contacts on my Mac (Leopard OS). I have also tried to synch with iCAL and Addressbook. It worked (after a fashion) with the Curve but seems to be a serious glitch with the 9000. Anyone got any answers/ Suggestions? Help!

I don't have the BB Bold yet, but which app are you using for the sync and did you enable the sync services in Entourage? To do that go to preferrences and then syn services etc.

This was my issue as well at first on my mac w/ a curve. I didn't have the correct settings in entourage. It's worth a double-check. I thought I did, and all along, I didn't.
    Har har har.

I will say after all of the issues I have with MissingSync I will be trying out PocketMAC and I may also drop Entourage and move back to Apple Mail, iCal and Contacts for ease of use and not jump on the corporate BES.

I have used 3rd party syncing applications for the BlackBerry and none seem to work particularly well. Missing Sync was hit and miss, PocketMac is an evil piece of software that will never even get near any of my machines ever again. First hand experience both before and after RIM offered the software for free so I actually had the misfortune of paying for the privilege.

My solution if you have an Intel Mac is using VM Ware's Fusion running XP and using RIM's Desktop Manager. It syncs and backs up perfectly every time.

Of course you will be syncing to Outlook or Outlook Express. To keep everything in sync on the Mac side, sign up for Plaxo and install their software on XP and OSX. Any changes you makes to the BlackBerry are reflected in Outlook which is then reflected, via Plaxo, in OSX's applications.

May sound a little long winded but once set up works beautifully and all my data is in sync across all my machines - highly recommended.

i am running entourage 2008/leopard and have no problems syncing with my bold. Do you have the newest version of pocketmac (1.2)? I know the last version wouldn't let you sync directly with entourage 2008.

Good question. I sent Pocketmac a quick note to find out. I suggest others do the same so it gets moved along if it not already done.
