This is driving me nuts! Ever since I downloaded 7.1 on my torch, every single time I restart my phone my BBM contacts are erased and I have to restore them. Anyone else experiencing this?

Not here. Maybe need to reload that OS. 7.1 has been good to me so far.

never heard of that happening before...try a battery pull. if they are still erased upon start up reinstall the os as mentioned above

Have you backed up your BBM contacts to SD card (Menu->Options->Backup)? Is that where you're restoring them from? I ask because I've had a copy of my BBM contact list on my SD card for quite some time now and have never experienced BBM amnesia in OS 7.1.
