It seemed that my "End" button is dead, I cannot press it to return to the home screen, and also cannot end a call.

Before I get this RMA'ed, is there a way to hang up a call without using the "End" button?

I can't seem to find a way from the touch screen UI, and I can't seem to assign the convenience key to end a call.

Any ideas other than a battery pull?

Mine started acting up last week. I use my bluetooth to end the calls. My third Torch is supposed to arrive today. Call in and get a replacement!

Try holding end button while touching the send button.

It's possible it's the same problem but a slightly different symptom than the escape button problem I was having. I think it's a ground issue.

I don't use the End key very often. Instead I hang up by re-inserting my 9930 into the OEM holster (with an on/off magnet embedded). Go to Options, then Call Management, In Call Settings, Auto End Calls: Into Holster.

If you hold the BB button, you can get home, but no hangup option. I'm surprised there's no hangup option either on the touchscreen or the menu if you tap the bb key. How do you turn the phone off?

haha yeah, I just use the power off like app or whatever in the app drawer, honestly not putting a hangup touch button really confuses me

I talk 90% on my bt headset, I use the end button on it

I agree with the other members. Since I make 90% calls to overseas a quick hangup would save me money. The touch screen end button is too inaccurate and unreliable.
