Its been 5 long months now that Browsing & Apps requiring heavy downloads for refresh has been suffering if one's a customer of Vodafone India.
Apparently - the 2 Service books; Internet Browser 1 & Internet Browser 2 are in conflict with each other, thus slowing down web accessibility. And this leads to an "error message" on the BB screen.
Now - after pushing the Carrier hard, they claim RIM advises to remove all current service books on the device and inject OS 5 service books.
For 9900 with OS 7.1.0.267 do you think it will work ?
i dunno what to do.. my 9780 doesnt even load pages,, tired wid vodafone.. i updated my os n suddenly found out tht my net is not working,, read this bibs thing on the forum. tried it nd my net started working
BTW - news are out that come 1st April 2012, Redington will no longer be BlackBerry Service people as new honcho CEO of RIM India has different plans.
Some of my known Redington Service Centers are already busy into audits for handover & closure with effect from 31st March 2012.
The rumours are also out that Ingram will be taking over the BlackBerry Service for India and they will out-source the job to their chosen ones for entire India coverage. Ofcourse, RIM worldwide service partner Flextronics will oversee above Level 2 diagnostic jobs.
