I woke up early this morning to see my 9900 glowing on my bed side table. When I picked it up there was something running titled Software Updates, that was in the process of Backing up data. Two bars top one titled Contacts I think and the bottom one titled Data which was at 17%. Not knowing what the this was I tried to stop or pause it, no luck. Also the radio is off. I have shut it off, and pulled the battery a few times it always comes back right to this same page and I have no ability to get it to do anything. Any help is appreciated of course

let the update run, if it fails or you don't like it, just do a restore to the previous backup. I think...

See if you can hook it up to a computer and see what happens then. Surely an upgrade will be quicker to do over the desktop manager?

How is it updating with the radios off?? :S

I tried connecting it to desktop manager on my pc, but it won't connect, and I have no idea what the this is doing some kind of backup with the radio off. LoL
