6:00PST for me.
Love the new keyboard layout.
Love the predictive text.
Love Doc-To-Go. It now supports Unicode. I couldn't read Vietnamese documents up to yesterday and now I can. woohoo.
Love Print-To-Go.
Love the Calendar.
That's was all the time I had before I head out to work.
Still on my list: new facebook update, wordpress, two new free games, phone as remote feature, etc.
About 7 AM - which is when I usually wake up. I started the update and showered/shaved/etc while it ran.
Same here.
I was really surprised how fast the download and install went. I was using my upgraded PB 30 minutes later. Maybe the de-brick method of wiping my tablet first helped.
Curious, was it fast for you?
When I did mine, it seems like it took about 30 minutes total.
(Since I was holding my breath the entire time, it seemed like much longer.)
6:10am EST. I had been up at 4:00 to check for the update, but but to no avail. So when I got up for work, I checked. Downloaded and installed like a charm including entering my email before I headed out to work. Now if I could just get my contacts and calendar (non-bridge) to synch with the PlayBook I will be good to go! Love the update and features RIM has baked into this! Great job, RIM!!
woke up at 4AM, remembered about OS 2.0, checked here to see what time it was supposed to come out, saw 5AM, checked at 5AM - NO UPDATE on my PB, posted a snarky comment to ; not two seconds after I was done, the update was available on my PB (that'll teach me..), was all done by 5:27AM. yay
easy for me, it was 11 AM, since I was awake @ 6:30, anyway lol.
Yesterday, I synced my W7 clock with Internet time ... and believe me, I was counting 3... 2 ... 1 ... HereWeeeeeeGooooooo !
Next Saturday. And it's taking everything I have not to do it NOW! Especially after last night and my surprise at how cool Bridge was; well beyond my expectations. And our work PBs won't be till next week.
