yes to scroll up and down freely using the curve 9360/50/70...hold "alt" while using the track pad to scroll up down or left and right....also when you move the cursor on the playbook screen all the way to the bottom of the screen, the cursor changes appearance, press and hold "alt" then click the trackpad while holding "alt" To jump to the homescreen on the playbook, same for when switching from different apps and vice versa. Try it out it works good
drop to the bottom and wait for arrow to fatten at the base and then alt and click trackpad or you might not have to click alt...i did it about 20 mins ago to make sure it worked and it does but im not positive exactly how i did it but you will figure it out its very simple
The non touch swipes work pretty well. Didn't take long to get used to it at all. I also had the same issues with adobe, but maybe that will change with the official update.
When I move the cursor to the lower left corner, I see that little keyboard with arrow. Is there something to open the pb larger keyboard or does it just mean that I'm now in "typing" mode?
When you move to the corners and see the symbol (keyboard or gear or what not) and click the trackpad it activates that command. Lets you bring up the keyboard or drop down the status bar.

Alt click the board icon and the full board will come up. Seems like all the gestures are with the alt key.
Alt + click link for browsing,
Alt + click edge and corners for bezel gestures
Alt + scroll to move around pages including music (scroll down/up to move left and right).
Other useful gestures:
click and drag in vevo to scroll down the music list
If you click and hold the trackpad, you can 'drag' some stuff. It worked in music for me. So far, alt-scroll hasn't worked on anything but the browser for me
works great in a Bold 9780, I tested remote control with browser, ScummVM, machinarium, pictures, bridge apps and all works fine, only doesn't work angry birds.
I can't scroll on my favorites screen to see more of my apps on the bottom. It minimizes/maximizes fine, other Alt+click functions work fine, but the scrolling only seems to work in the browser for me. (9360)
