Well, I just got my 9900 yesterday and let me tell ya, I just love this thing. The large touch screen, amazing screen resolution, the keyboard, the speed are just lovely. It just fits great in the hand. Haven't been this excited about a new phone in a long time. I look forward to using this device. Now, time to load up that 7.1 OS!
Actually, it makes me feel good in some small way to see a perfect stranger love something as much as I do. Good on ya! Is this your first BlackBerry or have you had one before?
congrats on your new phone the 9900 is sure a lovely device.
i see you've only used blackberry's in the past time.
the 9900 is a huge leap forwards when you compare it with your older devices.
now go baby it, and get all those sweeties for you phone. have a good one.
iam with ya! i got mine a week ago today, i came from an EVO. I love this phone i wanna tell the world. I am in the love with BBM, i tweeting from it. I love and missed the keyboard, i enjoy the touchscreen for browsing. I love the size, so much smaller than my EVO, its lighter and OMG the battery life is amazing for me! Ive seen some compliants about the abttery life, but for me its awsome, i have battery life for hours, and i love how fast it charges too! Compared to using my EVO for 2 hours and it dying on me. So happy i have BB i wanna tell the whole world!
Lol. I think the battery complainers are mainly BB users to begin with. Anybody coming from android and possibly iphone are in shock how long it lasts normally. That being said the battery life on the 9900 is not as good as some of the other phones but here's hoping it gets improved with newer OS's and maybe a bigger battery too.
I just installed the 7.1 OS on it however i notice that NFC option is not there. It's an unlocked T Mobile phone on a carrier outside the USA. Is there any way to get it enabled? Probably won't use it anyway, but still. Still trying to get Mobile Hotspot working. Don't think i have the right APN settings, but that's another story.
Actually no. I've had the 8100, 8900 and more recently the 9700. First touch screen phone though.
missed the 8900
i consider it the best looking berry prior to the 9900.
perfect for left-handed people (headphones and usb port on the right side).
i feel discrimination from rim against left-handed people i want a 9900 with reversed headphones, usb port, and volume control ports...... and autofocus camera

Just thought I'd make my thoughts public.
I have had mine since August and still find it a refreshing device. Its the last thing I see before I sleep (in its dock, bedside mode) and it wakes me every weekday for work. I have been a bb user for the last 4 years and am quite happy with my 9930. Enjoy your new Bold! now you need a playbook to complete your addiction. Haha!
I have come back to BB on the 9900. Tried other platforms so I had a completely informed opinion and this phone rocks. I have an iPad for media so this is a perfect communication device.
The keyboard is perfect! The phone feels awesome in the hand, like a quality built device. Yes I love it too.
Just got my Bold 9900 as well. Ever since I got .205 running, I am loving this phone. I was considering returning the phone due to the poor battery life, but since the .205 update, battery life has been AMAZING.
Just got mine last night and I have not put it down since! I got it from Tmobile running 7.0. I uploaded 7.1 and it is a world of difference from my 9700!
I notice the bridge function works better on my Playbook with my 9900 than it did with my 9700.

T-Mobile hasen't enabled NFC yet ... soon, I hope.
Totally know the feeling, I just upgraded from having the curve 9300 and to be honest I cannot believe I tolerated the curve for that long, don't get me wrong all you curve fans I really loved my phone then. However, the Bold 9900 is down right amazing. Love the keybaord and screen resolution, as well as the touchscreen. Good job RIM, just don't let up and keep on with the innovation. Awesome!!!
I keep picking up my wife's 9780 and then I feel like a giant holding a puny toy. Can't believe RIM held back on this form factor for so long and that I tolerated it for so long. This is the coolest, best BB. This thing rocks. Only miss the camera on the 9780.
