Well, what do you think of my wish list?01-30-12 08:35 PMLike 0 - I don't think you're too far off. If it doesn't have those specs, it won't be successful.
The weight would have to be lower than that though.
For comparison:
iPhone 4S: 140
Galaxy S II: 122
Droid Bionic: 158
Torch 9810: 161
And the 9810 routinely gets complaints about its weight.01-30-12 10:13 PMLike 0 - I hope you are right with the S-LCD. I've had pretty bad experience in the past with AMOLED and burn-in.01-31-12 06:14 PMLike 0

Well, what do you think of my wish list?01-31-12 09:11 PMLike 0 - Wouldve thought it would of been quad core ... All android and the new iphone will be quad.. Anyway I can deal with that... Front facing should be more than 2mp and the back should be more aswell... Overall the new design looks better01-31-12 09:53 PMLike 0
- How about gsm and hspa+ support ... T-Mobile and most countries around the world don't have lte yet and the current lte coverage is terrible + the fact the it has no mercy when it comes to battery life.
oh and a backlit cmos sensor like the mytouch 4g slide but better02-01-12 03:27 AMLike 0 -

And I'm not too sure how the processor game works. But RIM should be able to get their hands on a small amount of the chips for the prototypes before the chips into production.
Anyway, here's my BB London specs.
- 4.x'' screen (4.3 if they can keep it in the parameters of my dimensions)
- nice 720p resolution
- under dimensions (or atleast close to) 5.00'' x 2.5''
- high dpi/ppi
- dual core TI OMAP or Qualcomm S4. Either would do
- 1GB of RAM. More would be better but 1GB is good enough
- removable storage. SDXC supported preferably
- good battery
- light and thin
- NFC for sure
02-10-12 10:49 PMLike 0 - one has to wonder if the battery will be 1500 mhp?if its 1200 or something then rim just sucks.the best battery they had was in the 9700.02-12-12 02:25 AMLike 0
- Agreed...
4.3" display?
anything over 4.0" is ridiculous, anything 3.5-4.0" I would have to seriously consider as long as it touches the bezel, 3.5" and you almost certainly have my money..
I want a phone that slides discreetly in my pocket, not Zack Morris's phone for 2012...hence why I could careless for how crazy Android's have gone...pissing contest is all it is.
The resolution already has been confirmed to mimic Playbook 1024x600
Only thing I care about is RIM incorporating something like WiDi into the device. Cyclone will never be made available, and if RIM continues to refuse to be able to stream multimedia direct to your TV, projector or monitor through a simple wireless device, might as well fold now because they are WAY too far behind any chance of technology.Last edited by MrFuts; 02-13-12 at 03:03 PM.
