I wanted to start this thread in order to help collaborate android apps that are working after converting and signing... I have tried over 50 different apps, and so far only got about 5 working. I will take requests for signing bars and I will try and keep a list of which ones are working to sign so far.....

Note: I will take Requests to an extent, so let me know if you're having troubles or need an APK signed and I will check it out!

**: Most or almost all apps using native functions like the Camera, LED Light(on phones), microphone, etc. Will crash.


Please post on which apps you get working or not working so we can refer back to here in the future!

I can also try to help with your APK to Bar converting or signing issues!

You can post them in the thread and/or PM me I do not mind... Keep in mind though, gReader may not work, I've noticed many of the Android files will not launch on the playbook, I will try it and get back to you!

Here you go, I got it to sideload succesfully, just use DDPB or some other tool to install it to your playbook!

Sorry, busy day at the office, only managed to look at this now;
it's working flawlessly. Thanks again!

bit of context:
I wiped my device because I was having some issues with TweetCaster.
I'm currently running 2.0.0.4869. I installed Full OS with DingleBerry 3.1 last night.
gReader is working like a charm.

The only issue I got from my new root is that HCL didn't load the Market App. I'll post about that somewhere else, no point in derailing the OP.

OMG! I got that problem too! When I used Dingleberry to get the 2.0.0.4869 firmware back, I didn't get a market app. I don't think there is anything you can do. Everyone has the problem, so I just updated to 7111 because I can just convert the files instead of getting them with market.....

I haven't been able to get all of the steps to work out correctly. Not sure where I'm messing up, but I only need this one app to work while I figure it out. I'm trying to work on some edits but need to test some mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks in advanced!

has anyone else had any luck converting this app ?

It looks as to me like it will not work for the Playbook, sorry. I tried myself, and was not successful.
