I don't use the podcast app and would like to know how to delete it. I already checked in the appplication seaction in the options but its not there. Thanks in advance!
You can't because it's not installed. It's just a launcher/link to install the app on your phone. Clicking it will bring you to a webpage to download it. All you can do is hide it, or put it in a folder then hide that folder. I have a hidden folder called "$hit" just for this reason.
On mine it wasn't a launcher. It was listed in my App manager and I never installed it. It was using 1.2 mb of space and did not give the Delete option. I went to My World on App World and had the option to delete it. Gone Now!

Same here. No visible icon, yet it has been installed. I can't delete it. Rebooted my phone, and now it's gone. Very weird. I also just reloaded my OS, so probably why it fudged.
Try going to app world, installing, and then deleting the app.
