My heart almost drop when I see an update on my pb 1.0.8.6067. I was thinking it could be OS2.

When I open it, there was an update called 1.0.8.6067 for my os which is already on 1.0.8.6067.

    It's just a small one around 8Mb.

Just picked up a $299 64Gb Playbook from Newegg. That update applied during the initial setup process. I admit this is my first BB device I've ever owned. I like what I see so far. I'm really looking forward to the 2.0 version of the OS that I've heard is coming soon!

Just reinstalling something you probably deleted. No update.

Hay, this has been discussed from day 1 when the PB was released

If ya delete a 'native' app, like Kobo, the RIM server will reinstall the stuff you deleted using the same OS#. THIS IS NOT AN OS UPGRADE.

I hate these "updates". If I've deleted an app, I don't want it. Offer it to me in App World if I need to reinstall something I deleted accidentally.
