I'm more concerned about losing all my bookmarks, which are not backed up by the stupid desktop tool, than losing Angry Birds progress or my mega city in Sim City

But yeah, it sucks when you have to start all over again!

Never had a problem with Bookmarks, always get backed up for me

do they not get saved somewhere you can access them with root privileges? surely you could copy the save files and replace them after even if its from command line?

Really? Weird, I backed up my PB once, ran OS2 for a while, then security wiped it, restored backup and all my bookmarks were gone... I guess I did something wrong at some point then... sorrrrrrrrrrrry RIM!
