So when will TMobile get the offical OS update (4.5.??) for the Curve?
I've heard the speakerphone isn't as loud... wonder it if that will get fixed.

i just downloaded the 4.5 and installed it on my tmobile curve 8320 and its awesome. AIM is a full feature AIM with my WHOLE buddy list, and there are alot of other little things that I noticed and like alot. Alot better then the 4.2 that comes pre-loaded. Just install it yourself, its not that hard, I followed the tutorials and it was a breeze!

4.5.0.52 is working well for me and my wife, though it's not an 'official release" from T-mobile.

i've read some horror stories about calls using UMA on 4.5.0.55, and those were supposedly fixed with 4.5.0.69.

all in all, i'm glad i went with 4.5.0.52, but if you're waiting for an "official release" from T-mobile you'll be holding the bag awhile. I contacted T-mobile's BB help desk, and they don't have any information about a release date nor any expectations about upgrading the OS.

With the understanding that 4.5 is not an official OS by TMO, the install process will not change once it does become official!!!

I believe I read somewhere on CB that AT&T will be making 4.5 official soon... I believe they have a release date... but I don't remember what date that was... I just hope TMO follows suit.
