Download at will...
Be careful with that as I'm pretty sure that is the OZ Messaging client which uses SMS and not Data.
For the BB released AIM, you can go to http://www.blackberry.com/aim from your device and see if it will download. I was able to get it on my 8800 and it works for me on T-Mobile.
The only problem with following that is that I have an UNLOCKED BB Curve 8300 that is branded by AT&T and I have it on the T-mobile network. T-Zones doesn't work for me. Everything else is A-ok. But I'm having a heck of a time trying to get aim on my phone.
To get AIM on you Blackberry direct your Blackberry browser to the mobileappsdotblackberrydotcom and download BlackBerry App World. Then you have access to tons of applications including AIM.
