Hi I got a playbook for xmas and I want to use a program similar to outlook express or windows mail to be able to download my websites emails...am I just blind or is there no such app ? I see Gmail and such but nothing to download my emails from my custom email addy...any help would be great.

No native mail client till OS2 is offically released..

In the mean time use OS2 beta and the ported android mail apps..

Ok I have got it setup with OS2...what program would I use thats android based ? Thanks again for your help

I use the one just titled email but kaitan is also quite good..

K-9 Mail is a good alternative. It syncs seamlessly with GMail, and the interface is fine for a tablet. And the fact that it has more features than the standard email application in Android is a plus.

I have the "email" email client installed but can't seem to tie it to contacts. It froze the android player when I tried to do a reply and I had to cold start to release it. Can some one recommend another email client that has on-board contacts (email address only is OK) that will work with a user specified POP and SMTP?
