I'm surprised the Torch isn't advertised since its the only phone BB has that can even come close to attracting the youth that is flocking to Android and Apple.
No mention of the torch, I am happy to see a commercial, it could have been better but im sure they will come, and I am glad they are not waiting till next year.

Don't be silly. Kids, especially girls, use their phones primarily for text messaging. As anyone who does a lot of typing on their phone knows, a physical keyboard is superior in every way to a soft-keyboard.
Additionally, anyone who has tested out the Bold 9900 keyboard knows how absolutely amazing the keyboard is. It practically invites you to use it. Add to that the gorgeous styling of the 9900, and you've got a phone that makes the iPhone look and feel passe.
The Apple fans have been saying for years that "it's all about the user experience". Well, the 9900 simply delivers a superior UX; from the beautiful hardware with the best keyboard ever on the market to the smooth UI and superior communication software.
I got to see about 4 seconds of it before they cut the commercial for another one
I just saw it as well.. I don't know if it was cut off, but the end of the commercial was pretty abrupt.. I wonder if they have a longer version of it, the one I saw was only about 15 seconds.
I found this one.
It shows blackberrys actually has some apps lol
They need a least one commercial similar to this.
and this ones good about the Playbook

I have seen plenty Blackberry commercials here in South Africa. They have a pretty boring 9900 commercial that focuses on sharing via BBM as well as pinch and zoom. A while back they were always showing the 9800 commercial where a guy in the media industry went about his business with his phone and we also had a commercial with focus on some of the newer BlackBerry's which were the 9780, 9800 and the 9300.
I have yet to see a PlayBook commercial though but they have been selling like hot cakes here. The only carrier to provide them, Vodacom, is running very low on stock. If you flip through the morning news shows pretty much every presenter has a PlayBook with them.
I actually think the OS7 devices would have sold better if it was for a little advertising. Considering the result wasn't bad, it could have been so nuch better with some adverts and promotions!
Wow, that Torch commercial is getting a good response, everyone loves the "Huh?" guy, they should make more commercials about him, that is the perfect example of a BB user lol.. so into the phone can't hear other's, can't tell you how many times I've said huh myself.
I tried finding the one I saw online.. but came across this one instead..
I wonder if there was some special meaning in the line "you don't have to think about the next move, you just make it, surely this feeling has a name..though perhaps only some know how to invoke it"
What do you think? Was it a reference to the BB diehards?
Its never to late. If they can get some good adds going for next little while then maybe they can woo some customers in. And make everyone aware of their up and coming phones.
