My At&t 9900 bricked yesterday morning from leaving on the charger all night. I have done this many times before... After thinking about it, I had BeBuzz installed the day before it bricked. I'm wondering if anyone else with a bricked phone had BeBuzz installed?

BeBuzz would change the color of my LED light when I had a very low battery, I heard others talk about the low battery effecting the brick issue. RIM needs to release an update fixing this issue.

BeBuzz was the first app I installed on my 9900. I have not had a single problem since day one. I did have a COD 507 error but that was only when I tried to downgrade from 7.1 so I don't think BeBuzz is your problem. Sorry though....

It works fine for me. Had mine for more than a month on the stock AT&T OS. I turn off my 9900 and leave it on the OEM charger that came with it overnight. Don't think the app is the culprit as I have had the app on all six berries that I have owned.

I've use bebuzz since a year or so. Never have any problem with all the device i've used: 9500, 9800, 9900, 9860.

Did you turn off your bb when u charging it the last time? Because some of my friends bricked their blackberrys for left it charge while turned off and without supervisoin so when the battery has already full, the phone got overcharged. Of course there's an ic that will stop the current if the battery has already full but that ic could damage and causing a short on the motherboard.
