I don't know where this thread belongs but I will relate it to the 9780 Bold. My son loaded a bunch of songs onto my wife's 9780 and shortly thereafter they disappeared. He then made a new playlist and they also eventually disappeared. Now, my son's 9780 Bold lost not only his playlist but his music icon. Yesterday I discovered that my music which used to be on my memory card on my 9860 Torch was missing. Anyone have any ideas? Somewhere in our house is a lot of lost music. Perhaps it is hanging out with the missing socks from the dryer???
Take the memory card out and view the contents on the computer, run a disk check on it, I would recommend just dragging and dropping the music onto the card in batches from windows explorer instead of dealing with the frustraiting parts of windows media player. If on apple or linux, drag and drop it from the finder/file management window to the drive's icon/folder.
