Hey guys, I have a Torch 9800 which I'm thinking of fixing. But I'm not sure if its worth putting the bucks into it
Can anybody tell me if a phone is the same after getting it fixed?
Also should I dump $$$$ into a 1 year old torch?

The phone is VERY rough, it needs a digitizer as it was dropped and it stopped being touchable, also the housing is scratched and needs FULL housing. Is it worth it? Its all about 100$
What are your thoughts? Thx Mike

I'm not aware of the prices, but (for me) if the repair costs arround or more than 50% of the price of a new one - go get the new one.
    1. The new one will have warranty
    2. If you like the Torch (I personally do), you can get the new one with OS 7 (9810).

Besides, you said it was dropped... who knows what else can brake in time due to this.

EDIT: By reading again your post .. it looks like you really want a new one

I'd advice you to fix it if the repair cost is cheap.

You can go and get full price on its repair so It can work like new, if its worth the price go ahead and then sell, in my opinion is the best you can do, some people can't afford new ones and a torch is a great choice
