The presenter is showing off full on device email native on the device. It is linked to BES account and personal accout. Works very fast and smooth. Can zoom, download and edit attachments and all. You can add flags, folder, and it is full HTML.
Universal search is also embeded into the native device.
BES uses one cal for a BB and Playbook for one user. Activation is a registration process like a BB.

Calendar is also very slick. Dynamic date(s). The more activity the larger the digits. Sidebar view for Day, Agenda and Attendees. Very slick and nice. When click on new your schedule opens on the left so you can quickly see your current activites.

BP enterprise will run off a standalone BES. Two servers gets over hurdle of one user one PIN.
Address book is pretty standard.
Details such as Status, News, meetings, people are all icon hot links.
Enterprise or work data is "locked" You need to login to the corporate data to use any of the enterprise data such as email, or even apps. Applications can be pushed via app world, shows as a separate screen in app world as Work Apps.
On bes wipe you have option to wipe all, or just work data.

Use BB as keypad, no answer - but read between the lines as a yes. Native spell check and work correction is on 2.0
