The oddities that I saw in .440 were that the light around the trackpad turned off quickly, my face/sideburns put calls on hold very easily, often when I answered a call I ended up calling the person while they were still ringing me, I think there was a memory leak - phone was noticeable slow after a few days without a reboot. My menu button is sometimes completely unresponsive and I cannot figure out if its purely a hardware or software issue.
Battery life was exceptional with 440. (still installing 474)
The sounds problems were on the ringtones. Sometimes the phone got mute without ringing any melodies during phone calls, received messages and e-mails, events notifications and so on. Here there's a thread about it: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...f-time-669220/
