Well I guess RIM's unique android player is no longer that unique.

Android apps on your iPad? There’s an app for that! | 9to5Mac | Apple Intelligence

Comon RIM, let's churn the Android Player out quick before it catches on with Apple!

No hurry; that app won't be approved in the App Store, and jailbreaking is far from mainstream. RIM should take its time.

Why do you think Apple won't approve it for their app store? I don't think it's violating any lawsuit, though I'm not sure of that. I would think RIM would be sued if that was such a case.

Well, I suppose itunes wouldn't want it on their store because it takes away money from them with regards to other apps. That makes sense.

Apple only allows you to download apps from their AppStore. I highly doubt they will approve an app that allows you to use apps from another app store.

What would be the point? Every developer and their mother develops for iOS.

Seems like I've read that iOS apps are better then androids if that is the case who wojld want them. Can't jail breakers get stuff from other then itunes?

Yea. You can download apps from the app store (Cydia) available to jailbroken iPhone users.

That's true, I can't say I've seen any worthwhile-having apps that are for strictly Android OS and not iOS as well...

Yeah, don't see much use for it... unless you really, really crave Gapps (better functionality) and a higher ratio of free apps.

iOS users would not need any app from Android. iOS already has the best of Apps.

Gaps depend on android system level APIs like C2DM and the like. Would they even work on iOS...
