Hello.

Any chance of being able to type Japanese using the BB 9900. Currently only European languages are showing.

I know on the iPhone languages are already on the software, you just need to activate it. Forgot to check how to get the language on the 9900 before switching.

Japanese (and all other languages) should be already installed on ur 9900 (stock OS)...

If u have upgraded to "latest" version maybe da source took out Japanese or never had it to begin with...

I got my 9900 @HK and all languages were originally there with stock OS...

It depends on which OS you're trying to install. The latest leak doesn't have Japanese, while http://forums.crackberry.com/leaked-...s-fixes-642441 did, as far as I remember.

The one from WIND Canada? Does it have Chinese? As far as i know, only jAsia has Asian language input (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai), no?

This one is jAllLang. So I assume that it's got Japanese input.

I've been playing around with the software just to look for Chinese input, i never found an asian input method on jAllLang. Unless, this one really have it.

It doesn't state anything about OS 7

you need to be running an os that has japanese language support.
if you are and it's not installed on your device, you can isntall it through desktop manager in applications.
