I have just sent back my bold 9900 to get a curve 9360 cut a long story short the bold 9900 wasn't for me.

just got a few questions before I place my order.

    1) They keyboard how clicky is this? I have a 8520 for work which is very clicky.
comparing it to past curves is there any real difference?

    2) Had a 9780 before the bold 9900 how difference is screen resolution and quality between the 9780 and curve 9360?

The keyboard isn't as clicky compare to the 85xx series and 9300 it's much softer now and makes typing faster and smoother.

And about the comparison with the resolution of 9780, I think I don't have a say in that since I've never held and explored a 9780 before xD but the graphics of the 9360 is just as liquid as that of the 9900 since both are OS 7 and also with new resolution design/settings

I had an 8530 (sprint) and got to play with a 9360 at a tmo store for a few minutes. Screen is definitely better and the actions are smoother. The ability to pop up the all window from the main screen is very nice. The typing is less clicky than my 8530 and the track pad is raised more. I cracked the screen on my 8530 and am currently using a Evo 4g (long story) until Feb when I am eligible for an upgrade. I would gladly go to a 9360 from the Evo. I was not able to test browser speed, but I put opera mini on the 8530 and loved it. I have not touched a 9900/9930 so cannot compare with it. I have been using the evo 4g for a month with 4.3" screen and loved the 9360. The only time a may miss the big screen is for videos. I could not get the 9360 to play video before my playtime was over. It may not have been set up yet.

Thanks for the replys some great info there. I have thought long and hard in this and the decesion is a very easy one. As much as I love the 9900 the touch screen does nothing for me and the size. Will save the money this time around :-)

I had a curve 9360 and I actually got rid of it to get a Torch again. Something about the size of it just didn't appeal to me. It was a wicked device, but like you said about the 9900, it just "wasn't for me".

The keyboard isn't really all that clicky, and the browsing on it was pretty quick. But the size of the screen is bothersome and scrolling through some sites was annoying.

Good luck with your new device!
