How is the quality build and software ?
    I will start mine
    Mexico 4
The good works about 95 % flawlessly , takes nice pics , easy to use , love most of the updates
The bad hate the color and the back cover, still has a slight screen wiggle , the call menu return and call end buttons aren't sticking down like they should , and they took the color out of them as well , that keyboard drop down thing is kinda annoying

All around I like the software and the phone works really good and is fast just wish it was the 9800 with the update processor ,ram , os ect.

We have 4 9810's at my work so far. All are Mexico 4 units. The only thing I have noticed is the lock button on the top of two of the phones does not have a detectable "click" to it, like a mushy feeling to the button. I think some of the 9800's suffered from the same problem. However, the mute button on the other side does a noticeable click to it on all 4 of those 9810's.

Canada as its a engineering/prototype model. Even says it underneath the battery on the IMEI sticker.

Mine is mexico 4 as well. Experienced a very wierd stutter and lag, screen scrolling by itself and after i load the 353, for a couple of hours it runs smooth but then the lag came.

    frustrated.

i wipe it clean again and reload the 353. (hoping this is a software issue)

    lets see how it goes.

I have the videos of the self screen scrolling, how to upload?

Mine is also Mexico 4, build quality is excellent except for a barely noticeable screen wiggle (nowhere near as bad as my friend's 9800). Other than that no problems at all.

Mexico 4, zero problems with mine at all. No wiggles, no freezing, no cursor wandering, pretty good battery life. I just wish that RIM would release an OS update like .666 for the 9800, battery life on that build kicks azz!

Another Mexico 4, on 353, hoping for a new leaked OS to try soon. Glad to finally be able to download 500MB+ files without timeouts halfway through (both my 9800 and 9700 did this unless Edge was manually chosen, which defeated the purpose). Overall quality is great, OS has a little ways to go, would like the core frequency section of the escreen to be fixed though..

    Love my 9810.

I've the same issue, but only in low-light situations, finger near or on trackpad cures it. Had the same issue with my 9700 and 9800 till some scrapes got worn on the trackpad.

Hungary 2. The earlier one that I have exchanged and had a trackpad problem, was a Hungary 2 from the same batch.
We always get Hungarian units here in India.

Spoke too soon. I already mentioned the screen wiggle, the lock button squeaks when pressed, some buttons on the keypad make a springy/ding sound while typing, the section of the plastic bar with the back and end keys on it is loose and slides around, among other problems. I'm going to exchange it for another one as soon as my local AT&T store gets more. I still love the device in general, but this one has too many problems for me to deal with for 2 years.

You are right Ritesh. My 8520 is also Hungary 2 made.

I got 9810 Hungary 2 made yesterday but I returned it due to very very sensitive lock button. It was like a touch button not the press one. Now I will get my replacement tomorrow. Other than this small issue, overall it was very snappy and crisp.

I had a Hungary 3 unit which was utter rubbish. It developed a fault and had to be replaced. Not only did the keyboard sound like it had fizzy drink spilled into it making it sticky, but the slider wasn't secured very well and had a lot of 'play' in it. It ate the battery, struggling to get a full day on a full charge. It eventually had almost permanent hour glassing and screen freezes. My replacement unit is from Hungary 2 and works like a dream. Lovely keyboard, no screen freeze, and when downloading and installing 18 apps at the same time, didn't hour glass or struggle at all. Very happy with this one. Faith restored.

Mexico 4 here, had it since launch day and all is still working fine. ) wiggle, 0 issues with the top keys, and 0 issue with the buttons near the trackpad. Unlike all 4 9800's i owned who eventually developed a wiggle and 2 of them had light leakage as well as the button panel peeling off.
