AT&T just sent an update for my 9800....

    BB OS6 Bundle 2647 V6.0.0.600 6.4.0.223

Scared to upgrade, what if they block bridge and data transfer features with my PB???

Sorry, don't trust - has anyone done this update on ATT???

I got the same email but when I connect to DM it doesn't recognize an update. I tried to upgrade through the BB site and it said no update available.

I'm on ATT but have the Voda version installed which I think is a later build.

Someone else correct me if I am wrong but that OS has been out for quite sometime now. As I have been running it for a good minute.

.600 had been out for a while but i'm not sure if it was released by AT&T.

They will not block bridge...it is already not supported by ATT. You just have to make sure you have the OTA version of the Bridge downloaded and it will work fine. I had .600 but have since upgraded to .666 and like it better. One feature you get back with .666 is the tap to dial when you are in your recently callled screen.

Yes, .600 has been on the AT&T OS portal since July. Although, I had been running the same version as a leak from June before that.

I got that same message this morning and thinking, someone is way late on that message.

I find it funny since I'm running .666 now.

Oh, and the platform number must be a typo in the message. The OS page correctly indicates platform version 6.6.0.223. The bundle number is the same.

I have had that one since July when I got the notification from ATT. I did it OTA no problems.

I hate that feature. It makes it WAY to easy to accidentally dial.

I got the message also - opened up desktop manager, connected my phone, saw the UPDATE notice, tried to update... first it said a component of desktop software was missing, so I went through the install process, which failed. Tried again. Still can't get it to work. I am downloading the whole 168meg thing from the BB site, following a link from AT&T, but I am unclear on how to load it - one page seems to suggest I need to do an install on this 168mb package but then it seems to imply that is only for BES users and BIS users should be doing it through DM, which I already tried and failed to accomplish. Should I give up?? What does this failure mean??
