Received a notification for a Telenav v2.0 upgrade, but when I go to try and DL/Install it, I get stuck in a "replace version 1.0 with version 2.0" loop...I've tried resetting my device, and it didn't help. Didn't try deleting it, then reinstalling, b/c I didn't want to lose the app in case that didn't work, either.

    Anyone else having issues???

Just back up the app using BBSAK or something similar.

Well, that was dumb...I deleted it, then went to reinstall it, and it reinstalled the original (v1.0) rather than just install the upgrade...if that's not hokey, I don't know what is.

The good news is, the upgrade seemed to work after that...rebooting again now.

$9.99 for a year is a steal compared to stuff like AT&T + VZ nav...

Everyone should jump on this while it's priced like this...

How can you get Telenav for $9.99 per year? Their website states that amount per month.

You have to get the app through AppWorld on your BB.

    Only for US customers.

Ubinav is a good option for everyone else.

Problem with ubinav is that they don't support street names, which is a huge omission...

So, is this $9.99 a month on Verizon or a one time price of $9.99 in app world?

I thought it was $9.99 per month which I'd rather pay the one time price of $99 for Garmin if this is the case.

VZ navigator is $9.99 a month. This is listed as $9.99 for the year. Essentially VZ navigator is just a rebranded telenav anyways.

I thought that myself.. its just a diff layout - sort off. The functions/options are all similar with a completely different GUI. Works just as well tho.

Difference is Telenav is a $10 app (renewed yearly) vs VZ Nav's $10 a month or $3.99 daily pass.
