When typing on the keyboard of my 9900 each key makes a clicking sound for every key I press. When I had my 9700 it was quite silent and didn't make much to any noise, am just wondering if all 9900s are like this now and over time will become silent? Kind of gets annoying after a while, click click click click click click click click.

Mine does click alittle, but I think it will quiet down once it wears in.

I kinda like the keyboard clicking sound. But i hate the quacking sound of touchpad button which sounds like spring out of grease. Not obvious now but in days to come it may get louder and louder.

i just got my 9930 today and i thought it was just me.. when your in a quiet room and typing fast it sounds sooo loud..

All keyboards with a good pressure point make a clicking sound...same goes for PC keyboards.
A good pressure point makes a good keyboard.

Musicians would call that great action! Mine is 2 weeks in my hands. For any keyboard like KoreA already stated, to be fast and reactive there has to be an equal and opposite reaction. If you really needed quiet, it would have resulted in a mushy keyboard. Make those keys talk!

Nope, thats just the sound of this astounding, amazing keyboard. Coming from a 9780 I was a bit surprised myself but you just sooooooo love this click I cant stop typing. My fingers are like flying on this thing....so no worries at all
