As same as the title. What OS6 build do you think is the best battery life for 9650 now?, official or unofficial. Please tell me

6.0.0.600 worked very well for me, great battery life and no bugs that I encountered. YMMV.

6.0.0.587 workes better for me than .600

Signal stability is a little better and thus battery life is a little better.

I think you will find that there is no one BEST build. They seem to vary in performance from network to network and situation to situation. Some people even find that OS5 gives them better battery life than OS6. Myself, I couldn't see a noticible difference.

My advice is to take the top two or three suggestions that you get and try them out for yourself.

As far as official or unofficial goes. The only difference between them is one has been released by a carrier and one hasn't.

    6.0.0.600(unofficial/leaked) = 6.0.0.600(official)

To add to the good information already given here... No matter what build you try, make sure to give it at least 2 to 3 days to "settle in" before passing judgement. Some issues will show themselves right away and others might take some digging before you realize you have a problem.

.600 is horrible. it has BlackScreenOfDeath and missing Cods for Wallpaper customization.

OSBB v6 has been good to me but for now i'm on v8. (hybrids)

I agree, .587 is probably the best OS6 Build we're gonna get (for a while)

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but... I believe the significant difference between 587 and 600 is the radio file, with everything else being of less importance overall. The radio file that works best for you in your locations is the one that will give you the best battery life. I've tried both a few times and, for now, 600 seems to float my boat with fewer waves.

I don't consider the Black Screen of Death a "less important" issue.

Hehe, I guess a BSOD would be of high importance, if it affected you. I've yet to experience it on 600.

I had the BSOD several times while using .600. Every time it happened to me it was while I was using the OEM holster. It would fail to wake up on removal. Never bothered if I was carrying the phone in my pocket.

I guess it's interesting that I've not experienced this issue yet. I use the OEM holster all day, every day. Should I knock on wood?

3 occurrences in about 2 weeks was enough for me to dump it. And that was just sitting on my desk. I used to think VZW released the crappiest OS's; as far as 9650 goes, that honor goes to Sprint.

I found 6.0.0.587 to be much better than .600 myself, especially with .666 files over it. 6.0.0.436 was probably the best OS for battery life to date though.

I have had the best battery life since I can't remember when with OSBB v8 (666/400) installed over 6.0.0.587.
No memory loss, everything works and no BSOD or random reboots, etc.

OSBB v8 over 587 no question about it.

    for me 587 vs 600 :

587 ==> rarely get SOS but sometimes it makes a "sham" signal (when its 3G but you can make a call )

600 ==> often, very often got SOS. often get random restrat too (i assume that random restrat was related to the SOS signal)

overall 587 is still the best

OSBB v8 : very great hybird, high battery performance

.600 works great. And I use my phone on 24/7 and during the week it gets used a lot.2000 plus minutes talk time per cycle plus data. And I have a regular battery. On a 9 hour flight using movie or music player I will have to go to the 2nd battery on about the 7th hour.Yes I always carry extra charged batteries. As cheap as they are for the 9650 no reason not to have enought to last on a 20 hour flight.
