    I ran accross thhis icon tonight. This is my first time seeing it . It appears to be a "bridge icon" (to the left of the NFC icon). I still wanted to post this for discussion and feedback.

    The screenshot was taken from my Sprint Blackberry Bold 9930 (7.0.0.241).

    Its a BB Protect icon. Or you talking about the NFC icon?

    I'm talking about the icon under the 3G and to the left of the NFC icon. Youre right, the other is the BBP icon.

    I agree it's probably just an OS7 icon. I've had both my playBook and 9930 since the days they first dropped;however, it only showed up tonight.a

    It is indeed a bridge icon. Had it on my 9930 when paired to my PlayBook since day one.
