It depends on the app and whether there is an OS7 version available. A lot of my apps for my 9810 are still missing. Truth be told, I'm getting a bit desperate.
Usually Desktop Manager works beautifully, but DM won't assist if the app hasn't been updated to the new OS.
Some apps that are not available through App World (I'm thinking Meterberry) are available and will let you make the switch. You'll need your activation code. Frankly it was a bit of a nuisance and I just opted to pay for a new instance in my new device.
