i see that FutureShop in Canada is having a web only sale starting Sunday Sept. 4 at 5 pm eastern and running until Tuesday at 10 am. According to the email I received, the 64gb Playbook will be $100 off at $599. I also saw an ad in today's Globe with a similar deal from Rogers. Looks like a good time to buy.

Canada doesn't have the sales that the US is having. It's actually pretty hard to get a decent sale on the PB in Canada (I've been waiting for a month and a half since mine was stolen in July and $100 bucks off is the largest sales we've had).

I don't even see the sale on FutureShop and unfortunately, it would only be 64gb. I only see a 100$ gift card when buying a... Xoom. Amazon.ca had a 32gb sale two weeks ago at 532$ CAD. It just isn't fair, both Staples and Best Buy have stores in Canada but they only manage to sell the PB at full price...
