Does anyone happen to know what the password is. It's 6 digits. I accidentally typed in the wrong phone number when speaking with a sprint rep regarding my issue with my ported number. Now the wrong number is shown every time. I could call Sprint back but didn't want to be on hold forever.
Call sprint reps is the fastest to get it...
there are ways to get it from curve if you wanna do it, but it's kinda tricky
here's what to do:
1. Install Desktop Manager, and go to Device Manager, and look for Serial (COM port map for your blackberry)
2. Find a software called UniCDMA (Google it)
3. Connect you berry, and launch DM
4. Run UniCDMA, and set the serial port to your blackberry port (if there are 2 ports, use the highest number (e.g: if you have COM3 and COM4, use COM4)
5. Click on Memory Tab, then Enter Starting Address : 0x1067ed90, and Length : 1703936
Dump the memory to a file.
6. Open the file, and look for 6 continuous Digits, in that binary file. That is your SPC/MSL code

Wikes82: I am looking to find out my MSL for a Sprint 8830 I have and I have followed these directions and have gotten to the point where I have dumped the memory to a .bin file and have searched through it to no avail trying to find 6 continuous digits. I've tried using strings and grep but I am not sure what options to use when searching with either or how or if your piping them together to get the right search. I am wondering if the memory section where the MSL number is located is different for an 8830. I would love any help with this because once I get the MSL for this phone I should be able to do what I need to do pretty easily. All help is very much appreciated!!!! THANK YOU.

I'm having the same problem where my phone is connected to the computer but Unicdma keeps saying that there is no phone dectected. Also when I go to my device manager it says that I have COM 3 that is disconnected. I have tried every USB port on my computer and I am having no luck. Any help with any of this would be appreciated. Thanks.
