With OS7, the 9900 is left with around 190mb of app memory, you think it will stand a chance with QNX loaded on it?

9900/9930 OS7 will never run QNX...its not smart on RIM's part...money wise...leave the 9900/9930 alone...its an awesome device...lets worry about QNX till next year

So many people are asking about this... Admins, please lock this thread or delete the whole thing all together.

To answer the OP, there are no STRONG news items related to QNX from BlackBerry yet. So, who knows, by the time they come up with it, it MAY be able to run it. But I don't think 9900 can run QNX without a dual-core processor.

A more immediate question might be, will OS7 phones be able to run android apps? Or is that only based on the QNX platform?

Storm 2 owners are still waiting for OS6.
That should give you an idea what the chances are for QNX on the 9900

The 9650 should have never got OS6, it lags way too much.

But on the other hand, my 9930 flies!

why cant u leave the thread if u dislike it? the op might have been confused by the fact hat it was stated somewhere the qnx phones will be single core proccessors.

however i do not see the 9900 being able to do the bezel gestures of the qnx
