Well, I know that there are MANY users on here who want a today screen, and don't like having to bring down the drop down notification bar to see their calendar events.

But, I'm a 'fan' of the Fancy Widgets app on Facebook and got the beta OTA. You can add sticky notes, changing wallpapers, your today screen, berryweather, stocks, memory statistics and MUCH MORE to your homescreen!!!


Now I have my calendar present on my homescreen all the time

No problem. Its a very cool app. You need to get the link with your Blackberry browser though. It won't work if you do it from the computer. (its OTA only at the moment because its a beta release)

The calendar widget seems to be unstable as it keeps changing to different positions and sizes and often doesn't appear at all. Strange

working good on my 9930. I just wish the developer used a more accurate weather source and gave an option on the update schedule. I think he said it updates every 3 hours??

Ok, I have a Bold 9930 and would love to try this app. But... the forums suggest that version 1.2.4 is the latest for my phone but when I go to the downloads page it is listed as 1.2.11. What am I buying/trying/downloading? And will it work on my phone?

1.2.11 is the newest beta, do not pay for it. I think vers 1.2.4 is for Android. This developer seems to be either MIA or very very slow to respond to issues.

Just using the free version while I decide on purchasing the full one. 2 widgets allowed in free version, which is not bad. I have a calendar and BerryWeather active, with a custom icon set.

So far, it is a really cool app. Probably worth the $2.99, until Theme Builder is released at least this allows you some custom screen options. I haven't noticed any lag, battery drain or memory leak either.

App wouldn't work for me on my 9900 even with the permissions set to Allow. Don't know what I was doing wrong.
