    I'm on a Gold Plan.
I have to pay only 200.

F My Life. (I thought it was gonna be 250 so I bought a PlayBook)
    Now I don't have enough for a 9930.

I'm premier Gold too, and got the 9930 for 199$ upgrade - its for Mom replacing her ancient 8330m...

Seems like premier gold accounts are getting the extra 50$ web discount....

FYI: I think that was said other posts but you don't get the extra discount in store. I bought mine yesterday (8/20) in store. It was $250, and I
asked about an extra discount for Gold Premier members. No dice, but at least I have it in hand.

Maybe if you call up Cust. Care or Account Services, they'll credit you back the $50. No harm in trying. I'm headed to the store in about an hour to pay full retail at $499.99 so I can stay out of contract.

    Yes!

Thats just what I was going to do....

I hate the fact they they have the 2 different prices knowing most people dont want to wait to have the phone shipped to them.

It should be cheaper instore, give the customers a nice gift for being loyal and getting to the store early to buy a new phone.

just had my sprint employee cousin put two orders in for me and my wife at retail price....i mistakenly used my upgrade in june for a dumb *** android phone. what a useless platform. never got any facebook notifications and forget about email unless its a gmail account. you'll never know how much you love blackberry till you give it up for some shiny piece of Taiwanese garbage. im pickin the 2 new 9930's up tomorrow...cant wait.

Just picked one up for full retail. Had some trouble activating it on my SERO plan but it eventually was done. Paid $499.99 + tax = $529.99. I'm loving it. It isn't my main line (I have AT&T as well) but I will be taking advantage of the email/BBM

Not to kill a dead horse but it truly feels and acts like the "best Blackberry ever".

Is there any advantage to buying in store vs online?

I have two old BB's(8330 & 9630) I wish to trade in and was hoping that if I went in store, they would buy them back, even for $30-50 a piece.

However if the online price will still beat this, I will most likely order online and wait for it to be shipped.

    Thoughts/experience anyone?

I believe you can order your phone online to get the $50 web savings and still use the buyback program to trade-in your old phones to get more back after the purchase. I am not 100%, but I would just call a Sprint CSR and confirm.

I bought mine online yesterday for $199.99 and chatted with a rep online and had the activation fees credited as well.

U can buy online. And then still get money via the trade in program on the Sprint website. Thing is if you trade in at store u don't have to worry about shipping them the phones. Via online you have to ship it to them I believe. Check to see if by going to the store u can still trade in and not have to buy anything from the store...call store and find out

I know if you have a best buy around you they will buy them back also when you go to buy the phone.

Yes, Best Buy also has a buy back program, but you would have to purchase the new phone through Best Buy b/c I believe you get a Best Buy gift card when you trade in your phone, and with Sprint, I believe you get a prepaid Visa gift card.
