Like seriously, im blown right now. I basically do everything through my facebook application. And I cant get ANY fetches. I dont know whats the issue, but I've done the battery pull... That did absolutely nothing.
I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, that did nothing either...
I was also reading that if file free mem is low - facebook will not push any notification through. Check options - status - file free should be over 12,000,000. If its low, it may be doing what it does to sms/email messages and that is automatically deleting them.
Also, I had the same problem. What I did was go to Options->Advanced Options->Applications, Scroll to Facebook then Menu->Delete. Next I just headed over to the browser & the mobile Facebook site, downloaded the app again from the bottom of the page.
Suddenly everything fetches fine and I have no problems. Hope it helps you too!
I think this is a much larger issue. My facebook app which is the current version suddenly stopped fetching last night and started back this morning "sporadically" without my intervention @ a time in which all other data services on my phone were active and connected. maybe the facebook server is having an issue.
