My wife has the white 9810. I must say it's not bad looking at all.
Funny thing is the white torch actually felt a bit more solid than the black/brushed aluminum one, which I have. I am not saying the build quality is bad on mine, just the initially feel when we got them. My only complaint with my Torch is the battery door, seems a little loose, the white one is not loose at all.
For the original one to be silver, they must have thought they needed to change it visually from the 9900. I'd still prefer a black one, but white would do in a pinch. The silver one - looks funny imo.
If it's that pearly finish as the current Torch, you need to consider it, Joe. It's gorgeous.
I wanted a red one but I haven't seen any pics of a red one.

--im also waiting for a red version, they have it on the 9800 but not all carriers have it.
I'm thinking red, too. I'll need to see the silver one in person to see if it looks as terrible to me as the videos/pictures. The white does look nice, though.
Well...if the Blackberry Bold 9900 does not come out in white, I may just go for this Blackberry......unless I can figure out how to do the SIM swap and not have to lose bbm contacts and have problems with email either.....
Hey everyone. I saw that some of you were asking for pictures of the white 9810 phone, particularly the back. See the link below; I took a few quick shots for you.

I wish the brushed steel look carried over to the white, unfortunatly it still has the shiney silver. Hows the light leakage in the bottom? it was one thing that bothered me on the old white 9800.

There is still a bit around the bottom buttons. I haven't really spent to much time with the white phone, but if your in a dark room, the buttons almost look like there have a haze (of light) around them. I don't find it to bad, but I don't know how it would compare to the white 9800.
