although Social Hub/IM program works fine.. I don't know how to fix it. Last time I had to reset the whole phone just to get Talk working again. What do I do?

That happened recently on my wife's DInc2. Talk would hang at "Signing in...".

I ended up initiating a chat with her on my end from my phone and that seemed to fix it. Not sure if it will work for you but worth a shot before any resets.
