I am on AT&T and waiting on the new 9900. I am not sue for an upgrade so I will be paying full retail for the phone.

Will I be able to buy an unbranded 9900 soon or will AT&T release the phone first.

So far, rumors floating around the internet say that AT&T is projecting to release the 9900 at the end of November. If you know someone in Canada, are close to the border, or want to pay an insane amount from an online retailer, there are ways to get an unlocked 9900 soon.. vs having to wait approx 3 months for AT&T to release it.

If you can find someone who can get you a Bell Canada phone, they always come unbranded; even the boot screen is carrier unbranded just showing the BlackBerry branding.

I have learned that Bell devices are unbranded. Are there any retailers that ship online to the US?

I will keep an eye open on eBay.

I am going to keep an eye out for a Bell 9900 on ebay. I don't mind paying about $700 for it.

Most of the 9900 being sold on eBay are selling for way over the $700. I would imagine that an unbranded Bell would be even more.

Yep, even though PhoneGeek said they 9900 has entered field testing for AT&T, I am pretty sure we won't be seeing it until the 21st of November. I think it will go past field testing and be held up so AT&T can put more emphasis on their exclusive 9810.

It is the 9000 all over again. However, I am glad I waited with the 9000 because of the hardware issues.

I actually came across a place in Glendale, CA that says they are selling 9900s unbranded. I came across the video on youtube the other day and I just tried looking now for it but I cannot find it again.
