    It happend since day one, I restore up my 9800 backup files and the phone is working properly but it shuts offs on its own

    Anyone else has this problems?

    Probably some corrupt files or program.

    Wipe or reload the OS.

    Mine used to reboot itself randomly ... Try loading the OS once again, deleting language files you don't want, you will gain some extra app space too ... and then restore from the ipd files...

    Also enable memory cleaning ... I did all that and the random reboots stopped. Not sure, what fixed it though...

    Turning off is not good. It could also be a hardware problem. I would exchange it.

    Yes, no OS should cause a BB to shut off randomly. Just exchange it and be safe!
