I sucked it up and paid the $12.99 for overnight shipping because I'm using a ~5 year old flip phone that can't make or take phone calls since I sold my iPhone on Tuesday. It must be a recent change though.

A bunch of taxes though... I think because I live in California (crazy sales tax, even online...) Definitely going to be worth it though Unless a used Bold 9650 is considered a new device... I've haven't had a new phone since my Storm2 that I got 2 years ago...

Everytime Ive ordered a phone online or in store it has always got to me the next day, so I didnt see the need to get the overnight shipping and pay an extra 13 bucks...I live in socal by the way

I ordered mine last night @ 11:30 CST. I chatted with the online rep as I walked thru and she said that my "overnight delivery" would be Wednesday not Tuesday. I should have asked a few more questions, but just happy I got an order in.

With my NE2 I paid $199 +12.99 overnight shipping. Just called VZW and asked them about the free overnight shipping. The rep noticed the change and saw that I was charged for the shipping. She offered to credit my account 12.99, so in effect, I got free overnight shipping.

Order Status as of now shows that the order has shipped. However, no tracking number is available as of yet.

I ordered my 9930 via phone a couple of hours ago. I came right out and asked the rep if he would be kind enough to wave the overnight shipping fee. I was a bit shocked when he said, "sure, no problem". I received the e-mail confirmation a few minutes later and sure enough it showed the $12.99 overnight fee, then backed out the $12.99 under "Overnight Discount" or something similar to that. Sometimes it pays to just ask!

Don't think so. It gave me 199 plus free overnight using an upgrade from another line on my family share.
