I had the memory card error for some hours, and repair kept failing. I did it twice by PC and it seems to have gone, but none of my stuff is showing. I'm guessing that I lost everything? It still has 6GB is used on my memory card.

Maybe not have you tried a battery pull or refreshing your sd card? You can also repair the drivers on your pc when you connect via usb. Hope that helped alittle.

Tried both, didn't work. I just formatted it and now doing an ongoing long process of putting everything back again. Half asleep so I've probably put duplicates of files and not put files that I wanted.

Have you tried pulling the card out and re inserting it? It may have been jogged loose!

A good and simple way to check to see if your card is corrupt or if your content is still there is to take the micro sd card out and place it in another phone (friends, relatives ... ) If you see your items on their device then you need to approach this from a software issue with your BlackBerry. Reinstalling your OS might correct the issue. If the content is corrupt not much you can do other than try reformatting the card .. but doing so you will lose anything that might still be on it.

It sounds like there may be a problem with your SD card controller and that means you'll not be able to get your stuff off the card with software.

If you are looking for a data recovery option, I can highly recommend try recoverfab.com
I had a SD card with nearly 200 photos of my nieces wedding on it. Towards the end of the wedding day, my camera threw me a card error message.
I think there was a problem with the little processor in the card. Usually its possible to recover photos on a card that is just corrupted with software. But this one was dead.
It was completely deceased, I tried it in other cameras, and my pc and it wasn't recognised. I just got a message telling me to format it. I tried to but that gave me an error message too.
After searching the net and finding various data recovery specialists I luckily came across the recoverfab service.
Some of the other services wanted to charge me an astronomical amount of money and even a fee to inspect the card.
I emailed Recoverfab which is based in Germany and asked the owner if he would be able to help.
He told me that it wouldn't be a problem to get the photos for me. I just had to send off the card and he would get back to me with a preview of what he had recovered.
It took 5 days via Royal Mail to get to Germany fro UK. Within 24 hrs I was sent a preview page of the recovered images. The best part was that if I didn't need or want the files I didn't need to pay.
The fees are reasonable and there are discounts available.
The full size photos can be delivered via ftp or CD.
It is definitely worth looking at if your stuff is important to you.
    Good luck

It's entirely possible that you bought a poor brand of microSD card.

I bought a PNY that failed on me with corruption like that described above.

My brother has had his share of issues with cheap cards and found that buying official SanDisk cards work the best. Watch for cheap knockoffs and other brands that lack the build quality of SanDisk.

Not trying to advertise for one company over the other, but in my family, that's what we've found is the reliable brand. They have a high-end line for those who want higher data rates. Avoid the class 10 cards though. They seem more susceptible to failure.

If you have content on your memory, then click repair or format. It will say doing this will ease all content from the card.
